I'm interesed in visual explanations, maps, data visualisations and user interfaces. For the last 7 years or so I've worked on these things, leading the technical direction of a cross disciplinary team producing visual journalism for the BBC News website.

My preferred tools and materials are pencil and paper, Javascript, Python, Node JS, Actionscript and whatever else is needed to get the job done.
